Want to be at the forefront of the gaming industry? Want to be the first to know the latest breaking news, then broadcast it to the public? Want to be a part of the most kickass team around? Then you'll want to join SystemLink!

Part of the Gamer's Guide to Life Network since February, SystemLink is dedicated to posting the latest news from all over the gaming world. We're now looking for fresh faces to join our ranks as unpaid volunteers - but don't pull that face! There are a plethora of benefits to working with SystemLink: you'll be part of a super cool team, amass contacts and recieve press releases from the biggest names in games, and a voluntary writing gig looks great on a CV - it can act as a gateway to other opportunities, and builds up invaluable experience in games journalism. All you need is a solid grasp of the English language, a love for video games, and a keen news eye.

SystemLink is unique in the fact that we never give our writers specific posting targets or deadlines. We understand that life is full of surprises, so you have a flexible timetable - take the day off when Auntie Gladis turns up drunk, or post new rumours thick and fast when the feeling takes you. It means you're in control of how much you work, and we find it makes the whole process more enjoyable for our staff. Of course, dedication and hard work has its benefits, such as loftier positions in our team and more interesting projects, but the flexibility to choose when, and what, to write means you can fit work with SystemLink snugly around your lifestyle.

So, fancy joining in? Whether you're a master newscaster or just want to see if you have the skills, shoot an email over to linfordbutler@gamersguidetolife.com expressing your interest and we'll get back to you when we can. Good luck!
