I've said it before and I'll say it again: chicks with dual guns are awesome. My inclination towards members of the fairer sex packing heat is probably what got me interested in "Wet", a high octane, highly stylized (and bloody) action game developed by A2M.
After having barely survived the Vivendi-Activision merger, Wet is ready for its debut, thanks to its new publisher, Bethesda (little company that brought you Fallout), which recently announced that the game will be shooting up the PS3 and XBox 360 on September 15th and 18th, in the US and Europe, respectively.
Wet casts you in the role of the lovely Ruby, femme fatale and gun for hire. Ruby comes packing dual pistols, a deadly sword and some hugely over the top acrobatic moves, neatly packed in a Tarantion-esque package. Case in point: picture Ruby sliding upside down on a ladder, towards the ground, while simultaneously shooting two baddies in the process... oh, and she's looking all kinds of hot in the process... 'nuff said.
Hopefully Wet lives up to its potential, and doesn't leave us action fans out to dry. Stay tuned to GGTL for the final verdict once the game ships this autumn.
