The Gamer's Guide to Life New Year Link List is a chance for us at GGTL to say thankyou to any blogs or websites who have linked to us, helped us out, taken an active role at GGTL or even any sites we just really like. So, here we go.

The Greedy Gamer
http://greedygamer.blogspot.com/

The Greedy Gamer is a blog I only stumbled on very recently, after running a Google search for anything linked to Gamer's Guide to Life. After some quick research, I established that the blog has been going for about the same length of time that we have, and the regularly updated content is very good. Also, they linked to us, so I thought I'd return the favour - thanks guys!

Old Grandma Hardcore

http://oghc.blogspot.com/

WARNING! Not suitable for work, school or young children: strong language.

I ran into this blog on a general surf of the interweb one day. It's the chronicle of one man's experiences with Grandma, an elderly and yet more-than-capable video game queen. The hilarious posts combined with the brilliant subject matter make this blog something really special.

Midwest Gamer Podcast

http://midwestgamerblog.blogspot.com/

USA-based podcast hosts Matt and Bud run Midwest Gamer Podcast, a downloadable podcast/blog in which general chit chat, game strategies, news and more are combined into a gaming show. These guys take an active part over here at GGTL, and for that reason we salute them.

GamesAid
http://www.gamesaid.co.uk/

You can donate here. GamesAid is a registered charity, no. 1081706.

GamesAid is a UK charity dedicated to helping children and young people in and around the UK. We found out about GamesAid a while back, and we had a link showing our support on the sidebar for a while, until edits to the site meant we had to move it right down to the bottom of the site. The great thing about this site is that they base all their charitable work on gaming and the games industry, which is a really decent thing to do - helping charities through something they enjoy. Nice work, guys, and well done.

If you would like your site added to this list, please contact me at linfordbutler@googlemail.com and I will add it. Please note, we do not add pirate sites, warez or crack sites, torrent hosting sites, homebrew sites or sites which we do not like. If you link to GGTL, email me immediately as you will definitely be entitled to a space on this list.

On a different note, GGTL will be returning to it's usual modus operandi very soon (now Christmas is pretty much over and we've eaten all the turkey sandwiches). Keep your eyes peeled for some quality gaming articles from Gamer's Guide to Life, including reviews of LittleBigPlanet and Wrath of the Lich King plus much more.
